The properties are idyllically situated right in the heart of the picturesque Devon coastal village of Croyde, which has history that stretches over a thousand years to pre-saxon times. Croyde in North Devon provides a wonderful holiday location in a beautiful setting bordered by National Trust land on one side and the UNESCO Braunton Burrows biosphere on the other.

Apart from Croyde beach there are three other fantastic sandy beaches to choose from ideally suited for surfing, sunbathing, kite flying and beachcombing etc, they are Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe Bay.

The National Trust coastline of Baggy Point and the Tarka Trail are perfect for walkers and places to visit from there include Lee Bay, which is ideal for sunbathing, rock climbing and shrimping and a pint in The Grampas, and Ilfracombe, which has a very nice working harbour and good restaurants and eateries. For an wonderful day out for the whole family, Exmoor Zoo is a great place to visit. Right on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, it is home to 175species and 600animals. Click here for www.exmoorzoo.co.uk/

Further afield are Barnstaple, 12 miles away, which is good for shopping and eating. There is also the old seaport of Clovelly, a very quaint village with donkeys being the only transport allowed through the village to the harbour - well worth a visit.
